Bang Bang Bingo Bonanza (Petone)
A comedy bingo event hosted by Kita Mean, New Zealand's Queen of Camp and winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under.
Auckland
Auckland drag queen Kita Mean made history as the first New Zealander to win RuPaul's Drag Race, taking the crown on Down Under season 1 in 2021. With what she describes as over a decade of obsession with drag, she has built a career as a self-described "self-employed entrepreneur" — managing, marketing, and producing her own work. "I have been obsessed with drag ever since I discovered it 14 years ago," she has said. Beyond the Drag Race stage, Kita has toured Aotearoa with her live show Delightfully Camp, co-hosts the podcast Kita and Anita's Happy Hour alongside fellow queen Anita Wigl'it, and represented New Zealand at RuPaul's Drag Con in Los Angeles in 2023 — an experience she described as her "dreams have finally come true."

Phoenix Cabaret runs a drag dinner show every Friday and Saturday night on K Road. Doors open at 7pm with drinks and a two-course buffet dinner, followed by a high-energy drag show. Created by RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under winner Kita Mean. R18.
